ORAMA-System

ORAMA-System unveils ORAMA-Net : The world’s first self-organizing & Infrastructure-Free LoRa® based IoT network that extends the LPWAN Revolution where other protocols stop

With its ultra-long range, record-breaking battery life, and deployment on license-free frequencies, LoRa® modulation has established itself as the benchmark Standard for LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) IoT networks. Today, it is at the heart of some of the most ambitious Internet of Things and sensor-based AI projects.

ORAMA-Net supports this major paradigm shift by taking a decisive step forward with a disruptive protocol that is 100% compatible with the LoRa® ecosystem.

The originality of this patented solution lies in its ability to leverage any LoRa® sensor or device while enabling the creation of dynamic, self-organizing networks that are entirely ground-deployed. Unlike conventional LPWAN star-based architectures, ORAMA-Net naturally adapts to topography and environmental constraints – including mountainous terrain, rural areas, tunnels, forests, building renovations, and complex industrial sites – without requiring the installation of towers, repeaters, or gateways on elevated locations.

Thanks to this innovative bidirectional telecommunications technology, signals propagate from node to node at ground level, with 9 to 15 hops over several kilometers and thousands of hectares. Similar to a mesh network, it can also spread throughout buildings, forests, or urban environments, like a wave expanding across the surface of water around a collection and control point.

Zero infrastructure. Zero towers. Zero repeaters.

Because meaningful innovation should be driven by real-world use cases rather than technological performance alone, ORAMA-Net enables, among other applications:

  • The extension of IoT networks over hundreds of kilometers for infrastructure monitoring, including railways, road networks, power lines, pipelines, waterways, and public lighting systems;
  • The deployment of self-organizing Industry 4.0 and Smart Building infrastructures without requiring prior gateway placement studies or intermediate equipment;
  • Industry 4.0 coverage of rural territories and connectivity black spots without any towers, helping accelerate the emergence of Smart Villages;
  • Early wildfire detection through the extensive deployment of sensor networks covering hundreds of hectares in remote areas lacking connectivity and difficult to access;
  • The safety monitoring and supervision of former mining sites using underground sensor networks capable of propagating step by step through tunnels and galleries.

Designed to integrate seamlessly into the legacy LoRa® ecosystem, ORAMA-Net is also compatible with LoRaWAN® environments thanks to its ability to provide transparent interconnection with already deployed platforms, servers, and infrastructures, ensuring rapid adoption without technological disruption.

To accelerate its industrial and commercial development, ORAMA-System is now preparing a fundraising round to support the international deployment of this breakthrough innovation. The objective is to foster a new generation of autonomous LPWAN networks capable of delivering connectivity where traditional infrastructure has reached its limits.
