Sector issues

Wireless telecom networks are regularly lacking in buried and underground environments. The common palliative for replacing cables with radio technologies consists of deploying heavy and complex infrastructures, made up of numerous relays, antennas and finally cabling, if only for their energy supply. Unfortunately, this path drastically weakens the profitability and interest of implementing wireless IoT projects.

Our system

ORAMA-Net is the wireless network solution adapted to underground environments, because it is the connected objects which are and which make the network. This gives it three advantages over usual wireless networks and other connectivity solutions for IoT: it does not require any infrastructure, its energy footprint is very low, its radio coverage is very deep.

Shema Lite-Grid Multi-Hop network

ORAMA-Net is a kind of LoRa Mesh network where the connected objects themselves form and maintain the network. More specifically, it is a Lite-Grid Multi-Hop network with a very low local and energy footprint. ORAMA-Net can overcome obstacles and cover very long distances with a single micro-station, without the need for additional antennas or repeaters.

The ON-Node software stack can be installed on any LoRa object.
